I'm a software developer born & based in the Denver metropolitan area, mainly concerned with systems languages, native software, and open source. When coding for myself, I enjoy writing code in functional and declarative programming paradigms using languages like C++ and Rust for specialized tasks, using various shell scripts and Nix for infrastructure related tasks.

I am currently looking for work. I have proven experience developing desktop applications (as a hobbyist) and web backends for company internal use (as a contractor). I am a developer who taught themselves out of interest, so this does not scratch the surface of fields I'm familiar with (and open to working in). I'd be a great candidate for opportunities in any of the following:

• Desktop applications
• Embedded software
• Web development (backend, frontend, UI/UX, CD)
• Ad-hoc tools/utilities (CLI tools, serverless APIs, etc.)

I think recruiters would rather hear some of the less technical parts of my toolset; I'm comfortable in many common productivity software (MS Office suite & its copycats), commercial collaboration and ticketing systems (Jira/Confluence, GitHub, etc.) and operating systems (Windows/macOS/Linux). I'm fluent in spoken & written English and I believe communication, diplomacy and patience are critical in a workplace setting.
